The NBA is leading by example when it comes to major corporations using their platform to promote social justice. Just recently, the NBA agreed to provide its numerous stadiums and arenas around the country for polling locations in the upcoming November elections.

Earlier in July, three teams had already offered their locations as polling spaces, however, after teams refused to play last week in protest of the Jacob Blake shooting, the league agreed to open up all of the arenas it owns and controls.

This is a huge move by the NBA, as many of these arenas are in cities that have been hit hard by COVID-19, and need a large enough space to allow in-person voting while maintaining social distance.

Voting is the most important thing any American can do to make their voices be heard and help influence change in their environment. It is a privilege and a right that should be performed by everyone, especially during a time when the country is plagued by political unrest, social injustice, and a widespread pandemic.

We fully support this move by the NBA and encourage corporations to use their platform to push for equality and fairness for everyone.

We’re also proud to be partnering with the NBA in future collaborations that we can’t wait to share with you.

Be part of the change, know where your local polling center is this November, and get out and vote!
