When the flow of the music meets the flow of the motion you get the Gentle Art. We are excited to release a collaboration with the legendary American rock band, the Grateful Dead. This limited collection will feature a kimono in two colorways, white and black, and a special edition t-shirt.
The kimono is constructed of 450gsm pearl weave with large embroideries down the wearer’s back and arms. The pants are 10oz cotton twill with the band’s iconic lightning bolts decorating the front panels and the dancing skeletons at the upper thigh. The t-shirt features the legendary Grateful Dead dancing bear in a jiu-jitsu kimono.
The experience of losing oneself in the transcendental jams of the Grateful Dead parallels the feeling of getting lost in the hypnotic flow of jiu-jitsu.
The collection will release on Thursday, October 14th at 10am PT here at HYPERFLY.com, with worldwide distribution including Japan, Korea, Australia, and Europe shortly after.
