On paper, a BJJ Gi and a century-old American workwear label seem like an odd match. Carhartt WIP kept everything that makes the original Hyperfly kimono worth owning: the reinforced seams, and the "YOU CAN'T TEACH HEART" slogan stitched right in. What gets layered on top is the collaborative identity, co-branded patches, a Carhartt-inflected American flag on the shoulder, and "Carhartt WIP Squad" embroidered along the seams. The matching pants carry the same branding without overshooting it.
