I started training Jiu Jitsu 6 years ago in 2016. I have an extensive history of an eating disorder and just struggling to love who I am. Jiu Jitsu has helped me grow into the person I currently am and strive be by learning mental toughness, positive mindset and increased confidence/self-esteem. Jiu Jitsu has taught me that I’m stronger physically and mentally than I ever thought and that I can persist long past my own perceived limitations. It’s an art and a sport than I can continuously test myself in and train forever, even as I get older.
My biggest accomplishments are becoming a purple belt M1 light feather no gi world champion, taking silver at no gi pan ams, having the opportunity to being to co-main event in a fight against a black belt on UFC fight pass, sharing a continued passion with the person I love the most and just recently, putting that passion into further commitment by building commercial land and getting ready to transform it into our future gym Droogs MMA & JJ, coming June!
A fun fact about me is that I love animals! I currently own a pet skunk named Meeko and a little white dog Drax. I also used to have a pet raccoon named Rocket who had 15k Instagram followers because he was so cool but he recently passed away. I miss him so much.
