I’ve been doing martial arts since I was 5 years old. I started with Taekwondo. I did it until I was 12, took a 3 year break, came back for a year, and then started training Muay Thai, because I wanted something more aggressive and realistic. My journey in Jiu Jitsu started in the end of 2011, where I trained it for 2 years pairing with the Muay Thai training.

In 2014 I made a switch to Guto Campos (Atos Guetho Jiu-Jitsu) and started focusing solely in Jiu Jitsu. Since then I started building my competitive goals and competing way more.

In 2017 I got 2nd place 🥈at the IBJJF Worlds. In 2019, 2020 and 2021 I got 3rd place at the IBJJF Pan Ams No-Gi. These “achievements” are seen as almost achievements for me, as I’m still looking for that Gold at the IBJJF Worlds and I’ll do everything in my power to get it.

That’s one of the things I love about Jiu Jitsu, the challenges it provides you and keeps you on fire all the time. It moves and changes your life forever. Also, the way the training itself is built, it’s a lot of fun and it’s a form of meditation. I love it and it’s blended within my soul.

A fun fact about myself? I’m very good at making impressions of people. 😂
