Hyperfly had the incredible opportunity to partner with Air Jordan for something truly one-of-a-kind: a Women's Self-Defense Seminar hosted on the rooftop of the brand-new Air Jordan flagship store in Downtown Los Angeles.

Imagine this: the LA skyline stretching out in every direction, the energy of Downtown buzzing below, and a mat on a rooftop above it all. The Air Jordan flagship store was the perfect backdrop for an event that was equal parts culture, community, and combat sports.

We brought two full seminars to the rooftop, focused on women's self-defense that were practical, empowering, and accessible to all levels. But the experience went far beyond the mats.

For the occasion, Air Jordan commissioned a custom-made grappling mat bearing the iconic Jumpman logo, a detail that set the tone for how seriously both brands took this collaboration. And for our instructors, we crafted a special edition Gi made exclusively for the event. Every element was intentional, every detail considered.

This partnership meant something bigger than product. It was about bringing martial arts and self-empowerment into a space that celebrates athletic greatness and cultural impact. Air Jordan has always stood for more than sneakers; it's about legacy, confidence, and rising to the moment. That's a language Hyperfly speaks fluently.
