Hyperfly’s journey began in 2011 with a single Gi model, the Premium—a Gi that disrupted the jiu jitsu world by merging aesthetics and functionality in a way that was rarely seen at the time. The Premium wasn’t just another Gi; it was a statement piece, combining high-quality design with performance, quickly setting Hyperfly apart in a competitive market and defining the brand’s commitment to both style and strength.
As Hyperfly grew, so did the demand for more Gi options that could meet the diverse needs of the jiu jitsu community. Listening to the athletes and studying what the BJJ community needed, we recognized the desire for a Gi that was incredibly lightweight, comfortable, and versatile enough for both training and competition. This sparked the creation of the Hyperlyte Gi—a lightweight, competition-legal gi that has become a staple in the BJJ world and a foundation of the Hyperfly brand.

When designing the Hyperlyte, we set out to achieve a perfect balance of lightness and durability. The jacket, made from ultra-soft superfine cotton, feels instantly comfortable—no break-in time required. Paired with twill pants that are both resilient and flexible, this Gi is designed to move with you, enhancing performance whether you're drilling, sparring, or in competition. It’s a Gi that stands the test of time and the rigors of jiu jitsu training.
