Gi Size Chart

Find your weight band, then your height within it. If you're comparing against a gi you already own, use the garment measurements in the chart — every figure is the gi laid flat, unworn, and unwashed.

Read this before you wash it

Our gis are not pre-shrunk. The measurements below are the gi as it arrives. Wash cold and hang dry and it will stay close to these numbers. Wash warm or put it in the dryer and expect to lose up to 3 inches in the jacket body, sleeves, and pant length.

When in doubt, size up. A gi that arrives slightly big can be washed warm and dried down to fit you. A gi that arrives too small stays too small — there is no way back.

How to measure your own gi

Lay the gi flat on the floor, smoothed out, buttons and lapels closed and untwisted.
Measure jacket length from the shoulder seam straight down to the hem.
Measure pant length down the back of the leg, from the top of the waistband to the hem.

Reading the numbers

^‡ Flat width across one side. Double it for the full way around.

^§ Short and Long differ from the regular size mostly in the sleeve span and pant length. The jacket body length changes very little.

Allow ±1 in (±2.5 cm) on any measurement. Cotton weave moves, and so do factory tolerances.
