Starlyte III White With Black (Size)
Core Ranked Rash Guard (Size)
Hyperfly Core Belt (Size)
Description
Everything you need for your first BJJ class, in one purchase: the Starlyte III — the lightest gi we've ever built — a Core White Belt sized to match, and a Core Rash Guard for no-gi and skin protection.
This is the exact setup we'd hand a brand-new white belt. Nothing you don't need, and nothing you'll outgrow - except for the White Belt...

What's Included

Starlyte III Gi in White — Our lightest gi, full stop. A 275 GSM Star weave jacket that breathes, regulates temperature, and dries faster than anything else we make — which matters more than you'd think during your first month in a hot room. Reinforced with a 7-inch, 10-stitch ripstop layer inside the sleeves for grip breaking, plus 8 oz. ripstop pants with a redesigned belt loop system that makes rethreading a lost drawstring painless.

Hyperfly Core Belt in White — 8-stitch, 8 oz. cotton twill blend with a woven label. Competition legal. Sized A0–A6 so it wraps and knots correctly from day one.

Core Ranked Rash Guard — Sweat-wicking four-way stretch in 80% polyester / 20% spandex, with flatlock seams that won't chafe under a gi. Unisex fit, true to size, with UV protection. Wear it under your gi or on its own for no-gi.

Why the Starlyte III Is the Right First Gi

Most beginners buy a heavy gi because it feels substantial on the hanger, then spend six months regretting it in a crowded, humid class. At 275 GSM, the Starlyte III goes the other direction — light, fast-drying, and cool — without cutting the reinforcement where a gi actually fails. The sleeve and pant ripstop layers are there to survive years of getting grabbed and stretched.

It's also the gi our own team travels with, which tells you most of what you need to know.

A note on care: the Starlyte III is not pre-shrunk. Wash cold and hang dry, and it will settle in without surprises.

We'll Size You Before You Order

Gi sizing runs on height first, then weight and build — not your t-shirt size. And since this bundle has three separately-sized pieces, it's worth two minutes to get right.

Message our team with your height, weight, and build and we'll tell you exactly what to order — including whether you want a standard or long cut. It's the most common question we get and we've answered it thousands of times.

Unlimited Returns and Exchanges

Some things you only know once it's on your body. If the fit is off, send it back and we'll swap it — unlimited returns and exchanges, as many times as it takes. Not one exchange. Not store credit only.

Your first gi shouldn't be a gamble on a sizing chart.

Hyperfly / Sizing

Find your weight band, then your height within it. If you're comparing against a gi you already own, use the garment measurements in the chart — every figure is the gi laid flat, unworn, and unwashed.

Read this before you wash it

Our gis are not pre-shrunk. The measurements below are the gi as it arrives. Wash cold and hang dry and it will stay close to these numbers. Wash warm or put it in the dryer and expect to lose up to 3 inches in the jacket body, sleeves, and pant length.

When in doubt, size up. A gi that arrives slightly big can be washed warm and dried down to fit you. A gi that arrives too small stays too small — there is no way back.

How to measure your own gi

Lay the gi flat on the floor, smoothed out, buttons and lapels closed and untwisted.

Measure jacket length from the shoulder seam straight down to the hem.

Measure pant length down the back of the leg, from the top of the waistband to the hem.

Reading the numbers

‡ Flat width across one side. Double it for the full way around.

Short and Long differ from the regular size mostly in the sleeve span and pant length. The jacket body length changes very little.

Allow ±1 in (±2.5 cm) on any measurement. Cotton weave moves, and so do factory tolerances.

Still not sure?

If you land right on the line between two height bands, take the longer one — you can shrink a gi, you can't grow one.

Long arms or legs for your height? Take the L. Sleeves and pants that always need cuffing? Take the S. Your weight band stays the same either way.

Email us your height, weight, and what you're rolling in now, and we'll tell you what we'd send.
