What's Included

Starlyte III Gi in White — Our lightest gi, full stop. A 275 GSM Star weave jacket that breathes, regulates temperature, and dries faster than anything else we make — which matters more than you'd think during your first month in a hot room. Reinforced with a 7-inch, 10-stitch ripstop layer inside the sleeves for grip breaking, plus 8 oz. ripstop pants with a redesigned belt loop system that makes rethreading a lost drawstring painless.

Hyperfly Core Belt in White — 8-stitch, 8 oz. cotton twill blend with a woven label. Competition legal. Sized A0–A6 so it wraps and knots correctly from day one.

Core Ranked Rash Guard — Sweat-wicking four-way stretch in 80% polyester / 20% spandex, with flatlock seams that won't chafe under a gi. Unisex fit, true to size, with UV protection. Wear it under your gi or on its own for no-gi.

Why the Starlyte III Is the Right First Gi

Most beginners buy a heavy gi because it feels substantial on the hanger, then spend six months regretting it in a crowded, humid class. At 275 GSM, the Starlyte III goes the other direction — light, fast-drying, and cool — without cutting the reinforcement where a gi actually fails. The sleeve and pant ripstop layers are there to survive years of getting grabbed and stretched.

A note on care: the Starlyte III is not pre-shrunk. Wash cold and hang dry, and it will settle in without surprises.
