Trained in this gi religiously for about 4 months last year. The knee of the pants ripped out. This was my favorite gi up to that moment. I still wear the jacket as my daily training gi and it has held up well.
Im glad i purchased this GI. Im happy with it. The GI feels very light and comfortable. I was able to roll without any problems.
Definitely going to purchase a few more in the future. I highly recommend it.
Subtle branding. I expected the gi to be a little a heavier. It is very light but feel very sturdy. Embroidery is nice and is all of the seams on the inside of the gi. I love the extra material at the sleeve opening. This is really a "sleeper" in the product line and doesn't seem to get as much attention as the some of the other gis with more branding. Lots of nice details like the rounded skirt corners. The tailored fit is mostly noticeable to me in the shoulder area. Solid gi. I'd love to see more gis cut like this but made a little heavy, 550gsm, and heavier pants.
This is one of the simpler designs. I wish it had more embroidery to it, but that's nothing a few patches can't fix. The material is similar to that of the hyperlyte series, making it great for training especially on humid days. Overall it's a good gi, especially if you are starting out. A0s is too big for slender women, even if you shrink it on purpose. Hoping they release women's sizes soon.
