Inspired by our love of German Engineering and its precision, this is the JudoFly X Quattro. A Gi that is wholly in its own category. A hybrid of traditional Judo Gis and contemporary Jiu Jitsu Gis, featuring a 750 gsm pearl weave, the JudoFly X Quattro gives you the upper hand in any grip battle. The advantages of both disciplines unlock the ability for you to impose your will and spend less time getting tied up.
The JudoFly X Quattro is 100% IBJJF legal.
750 gsm Pearl Weave
Double Diamond Weave skirt
Hyperfly shield embroidery on each arm
Traditional Judo back-seam for extra support
"You Can't Teach Heart" print inside the jacket (left-side)
Back shoulder Hyperfly embroidery
10 oz cotton twill
Reinforced JJ workwear panels.
Large Hyperfly embroidery on upper left leg
Plasti dipped internal drawstrings
Large twill tote bag
JudoFly Series Gis fit larger than most other Gis. Additionally, due to the heavy weave it does not have a high shrink rate. If you are at the bottom of a size, we recommend you wear at least half-a-size down from what you normally wear (e.g. If normally A2, try A1L instead).
Due to the thick weave and heavy construction, loose threads may appear after first wash.

Judofly X Quattro Sunset
If Carhartt made a kimono, it would be a Judofly. Heed the warning about sizing, the gi will hardly shrink even if you hot wash and dry! Shout out to Nate Mendelsohn for the recommendation! Ossss!

Mixed Feelings at First
I weigh 260 and compete with the big guys. My bigger teammates and I consistently talk about grips and holding onto lapels. Because of that I did a lot of research on heavy/high GSM Gi's and came across the X Quattro Sunset. It is a 750 GSM Gi. When it first arrived, I was super hesitant to use it and not send it back right away because it was not as heavy nor was the lapel as thick/stiff as I thought it would be. I should add that I used to powerlift and I am told by my teammates that my grip is significantly stronger than most of my teammates. I asked a bunch of teammates and they all said it would be difficult for them to hold onto because the weave is 'rough' even though it is a comfortable material. As for the lapel was more of an issue than I thought it would initially. I decided to use it for class and I was pleasantly surprised at how hard it was for people to onto my Gi and how easy it was for me to break their grip. It is going to be my competition Gi for sure. I can't give it 5 stars due to my initial hesitancy, but absolutely 4 stars. I also recommend it to anyone looking for a Gi that wants to make grip an issue for opponents.

Love this gi! Heavy weight makes a big difference with grappling and grips. A bit warm at times.

Great gi for the cold nights I have where I train. Not too bulky, but warm.

A great "armour"
First time wearing a heavyweight gi. It was hard to grip as told to me by my training partners. Even though the gi is heavy, it didn't restrict my mobility.
